This print design was developed as part of a final project for an academic course during my time in academia. Intended as a museum prospectus, the overall goal of this assignment was to produce a literary document that visually communicated a specific design-based topic in both a successful and appealing manner. After careful deliberation, I decided to base my project around the role of women in design and their contributions to the field throughout history. Furthermore, regarding the application of design theory and technical principles, I concluded that employing a minimalistic aesthetic would work best in communicating the intended message of the piece, especially considering its material.

The appearance of black sans serif typography atop various neutral backgrounds ensures that readers can digest the text's literary content without much confusion. Concerning the layout of said content, the project utilizes a grid arrangement that divides the body paragraphs of each page into either singular or double columns that are center-aligned and spaced appropriately. In further demonstrating an attention to detail, each page also includes corresponding headings and sub-headings presented in multiple weights with line ornamentation. This booklet is filled with photographs of artistic works relating to each historical movement featured.
