Fastened in the crosshairs of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, Flirting with the Bully explores the juxtapositions between America's elite and the lowest of its society. Eerily reminiscent to that of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, the design of this book jacket appeals to readers whose preferred literary genre is contemporary fiction, with the inclusion of the martini glass and money setting the tone of the novel to be considerably methodological. Citing inspiration from linear design movements like Art Deco and the Swiss/International style, the imagery featured on the cover is vectored. Typographic content presents itself in a rigid and modern sans serif typeface that plays with shape and line.
